MANGAN, : State level workshop on Mun-Bongthing at Naga Namgor North Sikkm. The programme started with offering of Rumfaat by Sr Boongthing, Ola Lepcha. Welcome address by Mr Lhakching Lepcha, General secretary, RMRT, North branch. Brief report on the concept of Bongthing school was laid down by Chairman, Sikkim welfare commission, Shri Nim Tshering Lepcha who is also chief coordinator of the programme and Vice President, RMRK (CEC) assistant coordinator.
Likewise the programme was addressed by President Renjyong Mutanchi Rong Tarjum (RMRT) HQ. The programme followed up with technical session and open discussion on workshop and main motives on Mun-Bongthing, Tourism, tradition & culture. Concluding remarks and seminar was declared concluded by President, RMRK(CEC), Shri OT Lepcha.
The programme was also attended by Assistant professor, Nar Bahadur Bhandari, government college, Tadong, Shri PC Thomas Lepcha and PGT (Lepcha) Modern SSS Gangtok. Resource persons were Mr Namgyal Lepcha, President MLAS, Mr Tempa Lepcha, Rtd Lepcha Teacher, Dr. Kachyo Lepcha, Text book office education department, Ms Rennyu Chuni Tamang, Treasurer RMRK, CEC and TT Lepcha. Programme concluded with vote of thanks by General secretary, RMRK, CEC, Mr Karma Loday Lepcha.
