New Delhi, 18th July 2023: The chief minister of Sikkim PS Tamang met the Sikkimese patients and their families lodged in DKK Bhawan, today.
The Chief Minister also assured the patients who have not received financial assistance from the government yet, to transfer the required amount, provided, that their applications and referral papers reach his office. He further reiterated his support and assistance to newly referred patients, patients coming for reviews as well as government employees availing referral treatment in New Delhi.
While talking to the patients, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) wished speedy recovery to all of them and reiterated his support on behalf of the government as well as at his personal level to them.
“There are section of people and parties trying to give political colors to me for meeting the people of Sikkim who are undergoing treatment here in Delhi. Let me make it clear that, this has got nothing to do with politics, I am here just to extend my helping hand towards you and assist you in availing best treatment with the support of Sikkim Government,” said the Chief Minister while interacting with the patients who are undergoing treatment in Delhi.
It is worth mentioning, that SKM government since its ruling have been giving financial assistance to all the majorly ill people of Sikkim, irrespective of their party affiliations, while also giving financial support to old aged people, entrepreneurs, families and associations majorly effected by natural disasters, and many others.
