Namchi: 11, July: In an effort to ignite the spirit of patriotism and inspire youth to serve the nation, the Trishakti Corps of Indian Army conducted a Youth Outreach Program at ITI Kewzing, Namchi on 10 July 2023. The program was attended by 102 students and faculty members of the ITI Kewzing. The army team conducted a presentation on the diverse career paths available with in Indian army ranging from combat arms, technical arms and support services with highlight on the “Agnipath Scheme”. The outreach team highlighted that joining the army not only provides a stable and rewarding career but also instils essential values like discipline, teamwork, leadership and thus prepares the Youth for other walks of life.
The program also shed light on the extensive training and educational opportunities offered by the Indian Army. The team culminated the program by highlighting the numerous benefits that accompany a career in the Indian Army including attractive salary, healthcare, housing, educational opportunities and retirement benefits. The Tri Shakti Corps has served as a catalyst in igniting the patriotism and nurturing a sense of responsibility towards the nation among the young minds of ITI Kewzing, Namchi, which was evident from the overwhelming response received from the Young minds.
