A man committed suicide after allegedly killing his son and wife in Siliguri

In a tragic incident three members of the same family died in Siliguri's Samar Nagar area. Alleged that the man committed suicide after killing his six-year-old son and his wife in the horrific incident which created a sensation in Siliguri on Thursday morning. Soon after the incident was came into limelight Bhaktinagar police reached the spot and recovered the dead bodies. Accordong to the preliminary investigation police found that a man had killed his wife and son and committed suicide. Police team were also shocked when they reached the spot and recovered the body of the man hanging next to the bodies of his wife and son. Bhaktinagar police station IC along with high-ranking police officers also reached the spot. The police rescued the bodies of all three and sent them to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. The police said that the cause of death will be revealed only after the post-mortem report. According to a local resident, Shyamal Rai, his wife Tumpa Rai and son Pintu Rai stayed in that house in Samarnagar area. According to the locals, this family was in debt and there had been unrest in the house for a long time. But the locals informed that they are not aware of why Shyamal Rai killed his wife and son. Many are also expressing suspicion that this step may have been taken to get rid of debt. According to locals, son Pintu Rai was about six years old.
