SSB personnel intercepted Nepali citizen for smuggling Cigarettes to India

Prashant Acharya Siliguri, 10th July: Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel of 8th battalion posted along Indo-Nepal border intercepted a Nepali citizen along with Nepal made cigarettes being smuggled to India. On Monday morning SSB personnel intercepted a person with 320 packets of nepal made Cigarettes from pillar number 70/10 at Pashupati Phatak along Indo-Nepal border. The person engaged in smuggling the items is said to be the resident of Ilam district of eastern Nepal and after enquiry handed over to Custom office in Sukhiya Pokhari under Darjeeling district for further course of action.
