Chinese National Arrested from Panitanki under Khoribari

A Chinese national was arrested at the India-Nepal border in Khadibari block of water tank. Yesterday, while coming to India from Nepal, a Chinese national suspected of SSB was arrested, after interrogation, the Chinese national was arrested after being found to be inconsistency. The SSB recovered several Chinese goods including a Nepalese passport and a Chinese Citizen ID card from the arrestee. The name of the arrested Chinese citizen is Yohing Ping (39) and said to be the resident of Gandong area of China. Police recovered Nepali Citizen ID card, Nepal passport, Chinese Citizen ID card along with mobile, money from different countries and Chinese articles from the possession of the arrestee. The arrestee was handed over to the Khadibari police and taken to the Siliguri district court on Thursday.
